Dear Sir,

I think I am beginning to take color more seriously. I am trying to explore the possibilities of color to transform what I see (or imagine) and convey my idea or thought.

For instance, there is great beauty in shades and tones of pure colors, especially if contrasted with purer colors as in my ‘Red Pipes’. Color and form are the simple messages here, not so much composition, perspective, nor representation.

I have carried this particular idea around for about two years until I saw a ‘path’ for transformation.
