I need to practice my painting once in a while. Often, when an idea for a subject matter comes to mind, I am undecided whether to do it as a print or as a painting and most often I go for the former.

Printmaking somehow ‘distills’ what I want to say in a compact and direct way.

Painting is fun though, especially oil painting in wet-on-wet technique which is what I used for my ‘Man’.
