I showed this one to a neighbor the other day. ‘Looks spooky’ she said. It is not supposed to be, actually. I was not sure what people will see in this. A sad and tired male face with hollow eyes?

The hardest thing is to distance yourself from your work and look at it with fresh eyes as if you have never seen it before. If I could look at it that way I might see a man in despair. […] 

I know, it’s rough. It looks done quickly but it is carefully cut based on a sketch.
